Summer begins with the Challenge Cup Algarve, bringing together talent, passion and sportsmanship in a world-class setting.
The bigger edition, by the sea: a morning at the water park, football and time together — top-level competition and a family holiday in the Algarve, in the same week.
Who can play
Age groups
Different match formats and age groups per edition — see where your team fits.
In the U13, U15 and U17 age groups the organisation allows the registration of 2 players who are one year older, per age group.
Age groups and birth years are subject to confirmation for this edition. Check with the organisers before completing registration.
4-day programme
Enjoy four unforgettable days of thrilling matches and world-class competition on and off the pitch.

The event
Certified by the Portuguese Football Federation, the Challenge Cup Algarve features official referees in all matches. From the competition to logistics, the Challenge Cup Algarve ensures every aspect of your experience is carefully planned and designed so you can make the most of your participation.

Certified tournament
Certified by the Portuguese Football Federation, with official referees in all matches.
Guaranteed matches
Minimum of 5 matches for all teams. See the regulations.
Water park
One complimentary entry for all participating players and coaches in the Summer Edition, scheduled by the organisation for a fixed date.
Accommodation
Hotel or local school for 3 nights, full board, with civil liability and sports accident insurance. Hotels are assigned by the organisation for teams using the transfers; teams with their own transport may choose their hotel.
