Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Easter and Summer editions?
Paredes is the Easter edition in northern Portugal. The Algarve hosts the summer edition in the south. Visit the event pages for dates and programmes, which remain subject to confirmation.
Are meals provided?
All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are provided at the accommodation venue. Drinks (water and juice) are included.
Early breakfasts must be requested at the reception desk the night before. The organisation cannot guarantee adjustments to meals outside the regular accommodation schedule.
Is accommodation provided for guest players?
Each participant must present a passport or a copy of their identification document upon arrival at the accommodation for check-in.
Check-in: from 14:00 (teams wishing to check in earlier will be required to pay for an additional night). Check-out: until 10:00.
Is travel to the tournament region included?
No. Travel to the tournament regions (Paredes — Easter or Algarve — Summer) is not included.
Which airport should we fly in and out of?
For the Algarve Tournament: Faro Airport (FAO) or Lisbon Airport (LIS). For the Paredes Tournament: Porto Airport (OPO).
Upon arrival, a staff member will be there to welcome you.
When should we book return flights?
Before booking your return journey, confirm the finals schedule and the time needed for the airport transfer with the organisers.
How do I confirm a player?
Once you submit the player registration request, you will receive detailed instructions by email or phone. These will guide you through the payment process and connect you with the team that will welcome the player.
What happens after I submit the deposit?
After the deposit is received, the player's participation in the Challenge Cup will be officially confirmed, and their name will be added to the roster of the respective team.
What is the cancellation policy?
Up to 60 days before the start of the tournament — no cancellation fee (0% of the total amount per person). From 59 to 30 days — 50% cancellation fee. Less than 30 days — 100% cancellation fee.
